Dear
Readers,
May is here and for most of us this could possibly be
the most important month of the year for making our Mother's feel
special. Don't forget Mother's Day is Sunday, May 14! I did a little
shopping around town for some of your best options for Mother's Day
flower arrangements, Mother's Day Brunches, and other thoughtful
little ideas for Mom.
I spoke to Sue over at Nita Flowers & Baskets our
local flower shop. They have a special Mother's Day Bouquet of spring
flowers for $35.00, and for my readers, free Doral area delivery.
If you're thinking about taking mom out for brunch,
Oggi's Café (one of the best Italian restaurants around) is having a
great brunch/dinner special for mom from noon to 10:30 PM with a
three-course menu. It's only $16.95/person and they're offering an
extra 10% discount for my readers (call 305 269 1022 for
reservations).
Doral Park Country Club is hosting a "Mother's
Day Brunch". I've reviewed their menu, and believe me, it would
be enough to impress mom! Price is $19.95 per person, and you can call
305 591 8800 for reservations.
Kachi-Vache, our neighborhood gift store (located in
the new Winn Dixie Shoppes on NW 41 Street), has all the neatest gifts
and sentimentals your mom would love to have. Kachi-Vache wanted me to
mention a 10% discount on all gifts for my readers.
Picture Perfect Art & Frames, located at 10437 NW
41 Street at Winn-Dixie Shoppes of Doral is offering a discount of
$20.00 for every $100.00 spent in framing and a 10% discount on any
art purchase.
Maybe you would like to pamper mom with a special at
one of our Doral Salons offering my readers Mother's Day Specials:
Optimum Hair Artists at (305) 477-3833 for a 10% discount on a
manicure/pedicure, or Renaissance Hair Design for a free deep
conditioning hair treatment with a purchase of a gift certificate for
any other service at 305 716 1100.
I wish all of you the best day for Mother's Day.
