We continue to get a great response to our column and
all the animals that were up for adoption last month have found new
homes.
We have twelve new pets that need to find homes:
-Three puppies, two female and one male, that are mixed
breed and their mother has medium-length hair.
--A black miniature poodle.
--A 10 month-old chow-mix.
--Six kittens, three black with white, one tabby, and
two gray and white.
--Billy--a half Doberman, half German Shepherd male,
neutered and housebroken with all his shots--is black and brown, with a
patch of white on his chest. He has a very sweet disposition but his
owner has to give him away because she is moving to an apartment, and
can't take a dog that weighs about 80lbs.
We also have three owners looking for their pets:
--Dalmation named "Mini" that was lost on
Virginia Key on 6/8/00.
--Jack Russell named "Nick" that is three years old. There is
a $500 reward for his return.
--A poodle lost on 1/30/00 that is white with a blue collar and has a
bone-shaped nametag.
We appreciate the response and would urge any of you
with concerns about lost or found pets, questions about animal care, or
in possession of an animal that needs a home to consider "Our
Precious Pets" as the means by which your pet-related needs might
be met.
