Step into the Floridian Furniture Company and you
enter a world of tradition, quality, service and style. This
family-run business has been at the same location, 4795 SW 8 Street,
for 33 years and all but two of the sales staff are family members.

Jules and Lottie Lederberger came to Miami in 1966 and
opened the furniture store the next year. The main reason it has
remained there since seems to be customer loyalty.
As sales and business manager Benny Lederberger
explained, "We're like an oasis, a destination store in the
middle of Calle Ocho. People from all over the world visit us."
The 10,000 square foot showroom is divided into
traditional and modern sections for the convenience of customers.
Wonderful surprises await the lucky shopper, who can choose from a
selection of leading name brand furniture from the U.S., Spain, and
Italy, as well accessories and lighting to finish every room in the
house.
"We work with suppliers from all over the world.
We're in constant contact with them. If a customer wants immediate
delivery or a special order, we can accommodate," Lederberger
said
The store is not like the typical furniture emporium
most people would encounter. It is a full-service store that offers
personalized attention. There is complimentary designer assistance for
every customer. When you buy at Floridian, customers can be sure that
a professional will assist them.
Prices are very competitive and, Lederberger said,
"Customers don't have to wait for a sale to get a deal. We help
them obtain the best for the best price. Our prices are fair all year
round; they are already discounted from retail levels."
