On
Saturday, November 13th, from 10 AM to 6 PM, Martell Pontiac GMC
hosted a special event for all the NASCAR fans out there. Bobby
Labonte’s Number 18 Interstate Batteries Pontiac NASCAR Race Car and
its Car Carrier was on display at the dealership.

The
Interstate Batteries Winston Cup Racing Team is owned by former
Washington Redskins Head Coach Joe Gibbs, a Pro Football Hall of Fame
Inductee. Gibbs also fields two drag racing teams that compete in the
NHRA.
Fans
were able to see Gibbs’ and Labonte’s car up close and personal,
as well as compare it against the variety of production automobiles
that Martell has to offer. The Interstate Batteries Pontiac compares
most favorably with the 1999 production model Pontiac Grand Prix GTP,
in particular, especially in terms its exterior styling and
dimensions.
Martell
Pontiac GMC General Manager Nestor Mena, Jr. was clearly excited about
the upcoming event.
“We’ll
have the Interstate Batteries car here in conjunction with the
upcoming Winston Race, the first ever in South Florida. Being that
Pontiac is a big, long-time NASCAR supporter, it made sense that we
welcome the Interstate Batteries car, which is derived from our own
Pontiac Grand Prix,” said Mena.
And
Mena planned several specials in conjunction with the event.
“We’ll
be giving $4000 cash back on the purchase of a remaining 1999 Pontiac
Grand Prix, and we plan big incentive deals on the purchase of a 2000
Pontiac Grand Prix,” Mena explained.
If
you have any questions about the event, you can contact Mena at
Martell Pontiac GMC by calling 305 436 8400.
Martell
Pontiac GMC is located right off the 836 Expressway and can be reached
by taking the NW 87th Avenue Exit.
The
address for Martell Pontiac GMC is 8505 NW 12th Street, just south of
the Doral Community and just north of the 836 Expressway, between the
Florida Turnpike and the 826 Expressway.
